Marion-based HVAC contractor Comfort Solutions’ insulation and gutter divisions has been acquired by Kinzler Construction Services of Ankeny.

About 50 Comfort Solutions workers — 40 in Cedar Rapids and 10 in Des Moines — will transition to Kinzler, the family-owned company said in a news release.

Comfort Solutions Matt Hoskins and Alex Hefflefinger will stay wit h the company. Mark Eichinger, business development director, now is part of the Kinzler’s leadership group.

“Bringing the gutter division to Kinzler adds new services to Kinzler’s operation in Cedar Rapids — installing gutters, leaf guard protection and gutter/downspout repairs for both residential and commercial projects,” the release said.

Kinzler bought WD Door, operating as Doors by George, in Cedar Rapids, in January.
